One of the unpleasant facts of life is that we do not give ourselves enough time to relax and build up some energy to go on with.
The good news is that we do not have to take hours to relax and re-vitalize.
Here are some easy-to-follow and rewarding tips:
When your leg muscles feel fatigued: lie down and put your feet up against a wall.
Rest there for five to ten minutes.
Lie on your back with your hands on top of your stomach.
Close your eyes. Breathe slowly.
After you have repeated the breathing seven to ten times, rest your arms at your sides and enjoy the relaxation filling your body.
Take a cat-nap when you feel very tired.
Allow yourself the time it takes - afterwards you will be able to work so much better.
Start your siesta with a little aromatherapy: choose woody scents.
Clear your mind. Remove your clutter. Start with your anger...
Imagine you have a "delete" and a "rewind" button in your brain.
When you have a negative thought, press your "delete" button.
"Rewind." Re-think the matter in a more positive light.
Finish your mental "Time Out" with a positive day-dream.
